DAO Framework

The Untrace DAO Framework establishes a decentralized governance structure for protocol evolution, parameter adjustment, and treasury management. Key components:

• Governance Token (UNT): Each token confers one voting power, enabling proportional influence in decision-making.

• Proposal Lifecycle: Governance proposals follow a two-stage process—Draft & Discussion (7 days) followed by Formal Voting (5 days).

• Proposal Types:

  • Parameter Updates: Adjust protocol fees, pool sizes, and proof settings.

  • Treasury Allocations: Authorize fund disbursements from the governance treasury.

  • Upgrade Proposals: Approve smart contract version upgrades via on-chain multisig execution.

• Governance Modules:

  • Timelock Controller: Smart contract enforcing execution delays (48 hours) for approved proposals.

  • Governor Contract: Core contract handling vote tallying, quorum checks, and proposal state transitions.
